How do I find a backlink on facebooK?

Yesterday somebody linked to my website on facebook and I had a spike in visitors.

Checked the logs and unfortunately facebook uses an intermediary redirect to outgoing links, so I couldn't find the exact facebook page that linked to me.

Are there any tricks to figuring out where exactly your facebook referrers are coming from?

you could try a site search on google:

site:facebook.com example.com

it won't show shortened urls nor will it show profiles that are excluded from search engines, but it should show any other mentions of your "example.com" domain.

does G count links back from FB? and if so whats the value if any?

Don't think so, because of what Matt Cutts has said but things could have changed: [youtube.com...]

However, Matt also states that while in the past social site links were not used as signals for ranking by Google, they are used today. Furthermore, to evaluate the quality of such links, Google also evaluates the personal reputation of the authors on those social media sites. This process is still in its very early stages and is continually being appraised for effectiveness and so on.
