It seems to me that the next step in social media marketing for many companies is to try and set up their own social media site. I know there are platforms out there that facilitate this and some major players such as Ning that many are using already.
But what are the options available, whether its a hosted or managed solution, completely out of the box, or build your own completely bespoke network ?
