Advert stopped bringing in any clicks

Has anybody experienced this before? I have an advert running on facebook for 4-5 months. it has been bringing in 1-2 fans everyday until about 3 weeks ago. No clicks, no fans, whatsoever.

Is this some sort of ad fatigue?

I thought it was because of the holiday breaks that people are not sitting at their desks but 0 click is pretty strange.

I have paused it and let it sit for a couple of days then restart it.

Any inputs are welcome.

It could be a holiday break (usage), are you still getting impressions? 0 impressions means 0 clicks. I would suggest looking at your estimated reach in the Edit Ad section.

I often edit my targeting, as the customer base dries up after a while (unless you are targeting on a broad scale, but that doesn't seem to be the case from your question).

impressions dropped from 13k to 3k on Dec. 7th and keeps going down. I'm digging in deeper to see what has caused the impressions to drop.

create some new subcategory ads targeting more specific areas / interests / languages and wait to see what will happen ... ...

I have edited the target to make it much broader. still very minimum impressions (for yesterday). hmmm...keep exploring..

glad to report back that my impression is back to the normal 30k daily range. I didn't tweak the advert after the initial change, which broadened the target audience significantly.

given the proximity to the holidays, I'd imagine you were outbid by companies looking to utilize on the high conversion rates during the christmas season. they've probably gone back to their normal advertising schedules.
