Facebook Fan Page URL Not working

Page won't show

I created a new account in Facebook, set the URL/username, and then created a fan page. I assumed this is all that's needed to do what RedBull did which is to make their fanpage accessible at facebook.com/redbull. ..... but when I go to my URL here's what I get::

The page you requested cannot be displayed right now. It may be temporarily unavailable, the link you clicked on may have expired, or you may not have permission to view this page.

Note - the URL actually does show in the account info ... but I get that above info when I try to call it. Any idea what the problem is or how to fix it?

Don't you have to have a certain number of 'fans' before you can get a custom URL?

Oh, I have no idea (?). How many ... and where is the documentation for this kinda thing? Honestly, the whole thing is confusing to me. I have to create an account to own the fan page ... and the fan page is for a company but an account must be for an individual and NOT a company?

My head is spinning... :(

Impossible to contact these jerks - their ego is way beyond belief - I have tried their forms for over 3 months and only responses I get are look at this page faq - I am 100% right and they just ignore reason
