facebook ads impression issue

Hi Webmasters!

I'm experimenting with facebooks ads for my direct sale site - they've worked really well to date but with no changes made by me the impressions just disappear - anyone had the same experience?

I'm targeting over 100k users by
- country
- age, gender
- company worked for

I think i can discount the issue being around fatigue due to over exposure

I notice my Facebook ad impressions can vary up and down like a rollercoaster. I think it's due to competition with other ads. I'm guessing Facebook displays whatever ads generate the most revenue for them. That means, whichever ads get clicked on the most, not necessarily which ads have the highest bids.

i've found the key metric is 0.02% CTR - go under this and the ad stops being shown. This 'rollercoaster' style ad serving doesn't help matters!
