Facebook won't accept my CC for ads

...and trying to get something from support is like trying to get a logical answer from google support!

Does anyone know if you need to have a CC from the country you're physically in (or that your profile shows)?

Here's the issue. I am in south america, my fb profile says I'm a brit and I'm trying to use a UK debit card and an italian credit card...both rejected. I just press submit and it comes back "we cannot proceed yadda yadda"

I want to give FB my money. They don't want it.

I had a look around in the Help Center and found this form related to Billing Options - you should be able to contact some one from Facebook who can help with your query;
