search domains after registerant

Are there any services were its possible to search the domain registerations after the name of the person who has registered the domain?

I've heard that it should be possible to search for example "John Doe" and see the domains that he has registered, ie: example.com example2.net example3.org

I thought I'd bump this one back up. I have looked for a similar registrar information and don't believe that you can search by owner of domain.

Actually I think it may not be logistically possible with the number of registrars and the fact that some now do not allow a public whois....

This is the place to find out if I'm wrong though...

You used to be able to search by NIC Handle with Network Solutions. However since the break up of Network Solutions I am not sure how to accomplish this task.

I've tried nic handles lately, and they seem to universally return errors about invalid keys for me. My registrar will let me display all *my* records by nic handle, but it's only records on which I am listed as a contact, and I have to be logged in. (Real useful - I know what domains *I* own.) Even that won't stay complete if I ever register in a TLD they don't handle.

you can easily search the contact info, but i think you can see the domains registered by the user for last 6 months ( just not sure ) in the whois of networksolutions just type "name lastname,firstname" excluding the quotes , for examples type " name gates,bill " ...i dont expect you to see microsoft.com here ... but still give a try... after all practice makes men perfect. ...although i doon know about women. :)
