3 registrars with 4 drops ... Really 4 drops ?!?!

Is this being leased from GoDaddy or has Elon bought it?

Any fun value guesses / suggestions?

I wouldn't know where to start but will kick-off with USD 10 mil.

Originally in the 90s I mean, not 2017.

I don't know that it's public information on the purchase price, and we'll probably never know.

I would image that all the single letter a-z 1-0 names disappeared immediately back in the day and have been guarded ever since. It's not what they were worth then, it is what they are worth NOW that is a point of interest.

To own a one-letter .com , it had to be registered before 1993, and renewed since then.

In 1996, when I bought my first domain name, I first checked for "n.com" , and saw it was NOT registered, but the registration was not working, so I wrote to the IANA, who did answered me (i guess the Internet was still small back to that time), and explained that they had reserved all one letter / digit domain names.

But the record shows:
3 registrars with 4 drops ... Really 4 drops ?!?!

GoDaddy:
If the domain fails to be purchased during the auction process, the registrar then adds it to a domain name drop list and the name eventually becomes available to the general public. The length of the grace period and the exact process varies from one domain registrar to the next, as well as which domain registry the domain belongs to.

This domain is registered at GoDaddy :-)

Need to X Elon !
