You've never used Sedo? I've completed several sales and purchases through them over the years, never had any kind of problem.

One thing I do like is their facility to do backgound counter offers negotiating direct with the buyer / seller.

Have sold a number of domains via Sedo, I like their interface and staff are efficient. Will have a look and see what they have.

The auction ended last night with some interesting prices and some unsold. I actually bid on three names as follows:

1. A pretty good shortening of my company name which, I thought, was so "random" I thought no one else would be interested ... Wrong ... Lots of bidders, it actually turned out to be a family name and an acroym! Loads of money, not purchased.

2. A very nice 4 letters which would have been a family vanity initials name. It didn't go for big money, less than $200 however it was #3 I was really interested in.

3. Here's a Xmas present for my grandson. My daughter was very surprised when I showed her it and got "it" immediately .. grandmother did after an explanation:-)

The first three letters are his initials and the fourth his creative hobby which is rapdily turing into his vocation and which he is very naturally talented. The cost for this little gem $140 all-in.

More please Sedo!

Interesting you got a four letter .com for $140.

I would have thought it would have been a lot more than that, but, perhaps the prices have nosedived since I was last involved.

I can tell you that there were quite a few unsold at their reserve price of $99 !
