Hello!
I need an opinion of native English speaking folks primarily (though anyone can contribute, of course!). By "native" I mean those whose mother tongue is English (any kind of it). I plan to start online e-learning business and I've bought three domain names for that. Just to have a choice. And since I'm not a native speaking, it's impossible for me to know for sure how each of those would sound to native English speakers. The nature of business is online classes (we teach students). Online tutoring basically.
So the choice is this:
1) tutor.systems;
2) tutors.systems;
3) tutoring.solutions

Personally I see the two .systems domain names as seeking to offer services to tutors. Like a platform for them to use.

the third choice seems like it would be spoken most clearly, if that means anything to you.

I would also go with number three if your target audience is going to be mostly native English speakers - it is the easiest to say and gets the message about what the site does across.

Thank you all! I've already cancelled the .systems domains and I would be getting refunds for them soon. So I'll go with the 3rd one. Actually, it's the Premium one. Costs about $170 per year. But... Now I see that it's worth it.

Costs about $170 per year.

Why?

What's so special about it, is it a .com and are you renting it from its owner?

Depending why you buy it from a .com should be no more than $12-15 / year, less in bulk.

It could be that the 'tutoring' domain is only $15 but as a subdomain of solutions.com it becomes $170.

Isn't .solutions a new tld, in which case it is quite usual for single keyword domains to be premium priced.

That is what I though originally.
