Hi all,

I understand that the charter prohibits a lot of specifics, so I will try to stay within the paramters.

I would like to find a couple of expired widget information domains with at least SOME links and hopefully SOME PR.

I was also specifying that it had a keyword in the title.

And I was looking for domains for under $100

I went on a pretty well-known site and it seemed like all they had were:

1) Sites with obvious backlink spam (a local widget repair place with 2,000 links that was only registered for a year, or)

2) Sites with no links / no pr whatsoever (I know PR isn't the dog's orbs like it used to be)

3) Sites that had been registered several years ago, then expired, then bought by someone else, then used as spam, then let expire again.

So is that all there is for less than $100? Just a bunch of used and abused domains, or domains that never had a backlink at all?

Thanks in advance.

Might be worth posting lists of such keyword domains that have dropped and were never reregistered. I think that at the last count, there were approximately 150M such domains that were registered and dropped between 2000 and 2014.

@ jmccormac

Just so I understand, are you saying those lists are out there somewhere?

I don't know what "the dog's orbs" means (I'm in the U.S., which may or may not explain my ignorance), but I like the sound of it. Please enlighten me.

@Planet13 Not exactly "out there" but rather about five feet away. It is just that I never got around to breaking them down by keyword.

@Planet13 I assume jmcc means they were on his desk or in his disk, about five feet from where he was sitting at the time :)
