Interlinking own domains

Hi

I'm looking for a new domain registrar and found one small company. They are located in an offshore jurisdiction which suits me well. Tons of good reviews, virtually no negative ones, best prices on the market...

Since they are a small registrar(~200.000 domains), I foresee a problem - If I register/transfer all my domains with them and start interlinking them, wouldn't google assume that all these domains have probably one owner (because the registrar's market share is very low and therefor not much people are using them) ?

And would this be (backlinks between own domains) actually a problem for google SEO?

Also another way to find out if domains linking to each other have the same owner is to look at the registration date and time - if it is exactly the same, the domains have been registered together.

Any thoughts on this?

I'd worry less about Google tracking the network via the "smallish registrar" and more about Google's ability to identify, via signals other than links, the latest online detritus meant to profit via free traffic from G.

I've been intersite linking through the same regsitrar since the 90s with absolutely no problem whatsover however all my sites are squeaky clean, white hat and unique.

IF one is going to link dubious sites then it may not be a good idea however don't forget that Google is a registrar and can find out many things!

It would not be a problem if you buy multiple domains but you should maintain few guidelines like don't create duplicate sites structure and color. Also if you are linking different website with each other then try to host your site in different servers.
