All my registrars have a check box to allow autorenew billing besides that fact they start reminding me 8-6-4-2-1 weeks beforehand as well.

Not quite so many reminders from mine but pretty well the same. For any sort of corporation I guess one problem over reminders would be using an individual's mailbox rather than a group one for this sort of reminder and the individual leaving.
