I've been looking for a domain for a startup business and the name at the top of my list of desirable names is currently owned but on sale through pipednames.com. I have no experience with them and, frankly, their site doesn't fill me with confidence, so I'm wondering if anyone has experience with them? They apparently take payment by paypal, and I'm not sure if I should be suspicious of that, or the fact that each of their pages linked in the menu on the left has strange alphanumerics at the beginning of each page name. I've searched for them in google and didn't find any kind of reviews, neither positive nor negative.
Would I be better off having a registrar like godaddy attempt to secure the name for me? Since it's apparently for sale, they should be able to do so, right? What do you all suggest in this situation?
