what does .be domain stand for?

i'm wondering what .be domain stand for?

and is it good to buy?

i have also option to buy .ws

Which would be better .ws or .be?

however .be is little expensive.

.be is Belgium
.ws is Samoa but I have seen it used for sites in Wales.

I would stick with .co.uk myself
