I registered a domain via Yahoo! domains and can't seem to remember my password or any other hints... This was a throw-away account to begin with. Now the domain renewal is coming up, Y! can't charge my cc (expired) and is asking me to update my billing information.
The name and email on whois record are mine and I thought that that would be enough to manage the domain, at least recover access to domain control panel. But no, it seems like yahoo ties everything to their account.
So if you don't have access to your Y! account you can't access your domain even though the domain is registered to a different email?
Any suggestions? Thank you!
I would start by emailing yahoo to the correct department for assistance to begin the process of proving your the owner because you can't remember anything to get loged into your acccount.
I am sure Yahoo has a procedure for this but never registering a domain with yahoo I really don't know what else to tell ya.
