Subdomain in Static IP

creating a subdomain where A record of website has been re written to a st

Dear Experts,

If I create a directory in root folder that can be accessed in two ways

1. [subdomain.example.com...]
2. http://www.example.com/subdomain
The folder itself becomes subdomain.

Now I can created n number of folders to create n number of sub domain.

My problem is If I rewrite the A record to a Static IP provided by my ISP(A system is located in my home and it has a static IP) I will be able to access my main site like www.example.com but I am not able to access the directories created in it like [subdomain.example.com...]

Kindly guide me How to do it.

You possible need a separate A record for subdomain.example.com
