The choice of domain should reflect the theme and primary function of the website.

DiscountKeyword -> Your website is all about finding discounts, bargains, deals, special offers

KeywordDir -> Your website is about the entire realm of the keyword, including discount

Why not KeywordDiscount, that would make more sense to me than DiscountKeyword?

Having written that I don't believe I've ever searched for anything using discount, sometimes I have used cheap or offers or deals...and I've just done a search for my own products using both KD and DK and the results were awful, truly diabolical.

Have you tried this using your phrases?

acturally it is hotel guide website

In that case, and this is only my opinion, I feel you should go more for something like hotel+offers or hotel+deals or even country+hotel+offers etc.

hoteldir is not as good from an SEO point plus do people look for offers and deals or a directory or discount? Budget is always a good one however it does tend to suggest the lower-cost end of the market but, then again, I have no idea at which segment you are aiming? Budget 5 star hotels!

Can you not make an acronym or a shortened form for your requirement?
