Let's say I own the domain [example.com] and I've built a website about [example widgets] that's listed number 2 on Google for the search term "[example widgets]". The site receives ~20,000 visitors per month. The market for widgets is ~$10 billion per year and there are hundreds of companies selling widgets - some big some small. These companies spend thousands of dollars advertising on Google and other websites and publications.
How would you go about trying to sell this domain to one of these widget companies?
