I am rolling off a site off my existing site to focus on a new subject.

Such as on fishing forums.

(fishing word)forums.com

or

e(fishing word)forums.com

I like the shorter domain name much better, but I feel I might suffer from not having the keywords "fishing" in the domain name.

What do you think?

I don't like e-this i-that. It's the flavor of the week.

They're like a tatoo. You're going to regret it when you get older. :)

Anybody remember (before Al Gore invented the Internet) everything was suchandsuch-star? (All takeoffs on WordStar.)

Better to think-up something original.

Putting a prefix in front of a generic word isn't branding, anyway.
