Hi Folks,
Got this email this morning.

Thought maybe a scam to get us to buy these domains or ?

Thanks
James

Dear CEO.

[To paraphrase, the email was about registering .cn versions of existing domain names.]

Hi FattyB.

I receive this type of email all the time. I don't see it so much as a scam as an annoying form of marketing email.

Should I register a domain because I'm afraid that someone will register a .cn version of one of my domains? If that's the case then why not register my domain in about 200+ other ccTLDs?

Everyone has something to sell. Some are better at selling than others. At least they're trying . . and trying . . and trying.

Can't wait for the day when all 200+ ccTLDs start trying just the same. :-(
