I own such a domain name, and after allot of research I have realized it is going to take allot of capital to invest in inventory, so I am looking at other options of monetizing on this domain.
I could start a blog on the topic, write articles or how-to guides etc.
Maybe even have a prize giveaway section of the site where visitors could comment on the blog to participate, this would help push the site in a viral way.
Revenue streams:
1. adsense
2. directory listing fees for related stores (by country, state etc).
3. having a shopping comparison engine for all the products, charge a flat rate + per click fee
4. affiliates (other ecomm stores, ebay, etc)
*** if anyone of you guys have come accross a site that is doing something similiar to what I'm talking about, please sticky me as I would love to see some real life examples of such a model.
I have a domain which is generic and A Class i.. which speaks itself!
I was thinking all these months what to do?
I work and cannot devote time to this which requires 24X7 schedule!
Neither I can invest so much of money.
Best Solution, take a reseller plan.
Customize it and point your domain!
I have implemetned adsense to it and hope to see things coming sooner.
Regards
Dipen

[edit reason] Try to avoid naming service providers, especially smaller ones. [/edit]
