Or is there a problem with type-ins if a German character such as "ü" is an "ue" in the domain name?
What Im wondering especially is: What will happen in the future? Will the "ue" be replaced with the real German characters in the near future and thus the type-in traffic will stay away?
Do the search engines consider this an exact match domain, btw?
thanks!
At the end of the day the search engines, the searcher and web designers/constructor, need to try and present information in the fastest and simplest form therefore it may only have a limited appeal in one language market rather than across the board.
I can see no reason why a search engine would not see it as an exact match however how many would actually type that in is altogether another variable.
I believe the Chinese have already perfected a simplified language using their own characters however my Chinese is pretty rubbish therefore I have no idea if it works in practice.
I'll just wait to prove myself wrong in 5 years!
