Hi everyone,

I missed the expiration date of my domain name,so my host provider removed my web pages and posed the domain in "pending status",meaning that if anyone type it finds a "welcome page",not a 404 error.
I checked my presence in the SERPs but my pages already disappeared!
How can it be possible considering that domain is expired only 4 days ago?
Why SEs require weeks or months to index and only few days to delete web pages?
Am I missing something?
And if I renew it, can I recover my positions in a reasonable time or is it all lost, having to restart from the scratch (submitting, linking and so on...)?

Thanks for a kind reply

Sincerely

Assuming that people haven't pulled their lnks to you, I think you're OK. Google will see those inbound links in their system, and will crawl again, and find your content.

I had a client with a similar situation to yours, and they didn't suffer any long term problems.

By acting fast and adding some fresh content.
Spiders like to find something new.
That should keep you running along.
