Hi i successfully registered a .cn from a registrar, and am quite confused with the email i received saying congrats that i registered .com.cn

So i would like to clarify do i also have to register a .com.cn seperately? <snip>

.COM.CN and .CN domains are different. The later one is referred as top level ccTLD and first one is referred to as second level ccTLD. You should register the domains directly from Registrars, like:

second level ccTLD are usually cheaper than top level ccTLDs

.com.cn likes .cn is a top level Domain Name

thanks all for the late reply, i just registered a .com.cn the next day after double checking. quite dumb of me..thanks all
