Hello,

1)What websites list expiring Domains
2)What is the process, software or registering,to have back side access to the notices of expiring or deleting Domains.
In short words, how do Pool and Snap get the lists, and what are the entry requirements to that level of access?
Are there any recent previous Posts on this or another WebmasterWorld Forum ,of the type that gives a overview of the process of obtaining deleting or expiring Domain Names?
If not, would some one please give that overview?

This is a game of diminishing returns since all major registrars now horde and auction their own domain name drops, or they turn them over to SnapNames to auction them.

Also, it's not enough to have lists of expiring domain names. You also need multiple connections to the registry to compete.

You're a bit late to the party to be at the stage of asking how is it done.

Party over.

Anyone with a different perspective feel free to beat up on me. Now is a good time as I'm a bit exhausted from navigating the ICANN debacle. :-P

There are some smaller registrars and/or registrar affiliates that will grab expired domain names and then sell them at a flat rate, first-come, first-served, or they'll auction them on eBay.

But, for the most part, the big registrars grab expired domains, so it's mostly too late to get in on that game anymore.

Though I did recently have success re-getting one of my own domain names, which I had overlooked renewing. I used GoDaddy's backorder service, and the domain was registered through a different registrar.

Initially, it failed to capture it. But then a couple days later, I got a message that capture was successful. Weird, but it's mine again.

Webwork's right - Generally at the moment the drop catchers and the registrars have the market pretty sewn up, though I notice one newcomer is managing to pocket some very good domains.
