Clubdrop
Pool
SnapNames
Namewinner
I have long experience bidding in the four, if I bid on ClubDrop and Pool, then neither snaps or namewinner will ever get a drop. Only, when I don't bid on those first then the other haves a chance.
If I only bid in Clubdrop and Pool, and the domain is not very, very sought, for sure Clubdrop will got it. If the domain really worth a fierce auction, then Pool probably will win. It seems that Pool manually adjusts/tune the resources dedicated to grab a name, when they have many bids on it.
A good hint is to wait until the last day to place your backorder, in this way you avoid creating unnecesary speculation on it.

In recent months SnapNames formed a partnership with Network Solutions. If the domain is registered with NetSol and someone bids through SnapNames, they'll get the domain every time.
However, since this domain is registered through Tucows, the SnapNames/NetSol connection is not pertinent to this particular domain. What may be pertinent, depending on the timing, is that Tucows plans to announce it's own in-house auction service for expiring domains [webmasterworld.com].
As far as I know, this has not yet happened, but once it does, that would be the place to go.

I think that only works when the bid is set before the name is released to the registry, i.e. while the registrar already has control of the name. Otherwise, it is in the same pool as every other name.
