Selling a domain

I've got a domain I want to sell but im not sure how to go about it.

How does it actually work, do I have to inform my registrar of the sale or is there a service that handles it all for me?

Sell it, after the sale contact the registrar with the new information.

Check with your registrar first.

Some registrars allow you to go in and change the contact information yourself while others require paperwork to be faxed and they will do it themselves.

Thanks for the help. I've sent an email to my registrar to see what their policy is. And im using sedo co uk to sell the site and use the escrow service.
