I am looking at purchasing a website from someone and when they sent me a Google Ad Words report it showed another domain name. I checked out the name and it turned out to be a sister site to the one being sold.

I have asked the guy to explain and tell me if there is anything else I should need to know, but is there anyway I can do a search to find out all the domains he owns(without knowing the names) to see if he is pulling a shifty by selling me a site and then setting up shop with another url.

this is the most classic trick being used, u not buying from an ebay ad or similar are you?

as for the report, maybe Lisa the moderator here can help, I know there were a few tricks a while back, but not sure of the sources.

good luck.

Definitely no, this business was advertised through a broker and does come with some offline content but I am still wary as I am not sure if restraint of trade clauses would apply to website like they would to physical shopfronts.

There is a certain tool that I make publicly available on one of my websites, I don't want to mention the url because Brett has a filter on it for some reason. But if you do some digging you should be able to find the tool I speak of.
