IE displaying not displaying background

The background image for my site is overriding my background for a div

On Internet Explorer (only the Mac version), my site's footer displays my #container's background image. I have the background image set to be included into the whole div, to give the illusion of having the right gray column. But for some reason IE Mac is displaying the background image, rather than displaying the white background I have it set to.

The page is located here: [hawkherald.com...]

If you don't have a Mac, this is a screenshot of what it looks like: hhcomfooter.jpg [nickscribner.com]

Have you tried:

background-image: none;

?

IE for Mac is crap!

Nope, that didn't work. I agree IE Mac does suck, I don't use it. I just want to make sure that my site displays correctly in all browsers and platforms.
