Text on a slant

I would like setting links (text only) not images on a slant

I know that css may set text in curve following a path

But I am here asking if a simple link (one or two words) could be set at an angle
And again I mean the link in its all and not one letter at a time

I do not think it can be done but....?

No, it can't be done with CSS.

However MS (IE-only) has Rotation [msdn.microsoft.com] and Matrix [msdn.microsoft.com] filters.

Does anyone know if "matrix filter" or equivalent will be at some point considered to be added in CSS?

I do not mean tomorrow! but is there a discussion somewhere about it?

This can really offer some opportunities to go even further in styling.
