CSS IE 6.0 Bug?

my content disappears when hovering on link

anyone using msie 6.0 here? please try to test this, check out the site on my profile then the right part which says "random pinoy slang" there should be a sentence with a colored background below, however the problem is most of the time this part would not load but if you would highlight the content or scroll up, it would appear.

and the most odd part is if you hover over some links listed (specially on top links) it hides the information.

btw that part is php generated (echo)

IE6 is well-known for it's rendering bugs that make text disappear and then reappear again.

Add this to the top of your CSS:

* {
position: relative;
}

That should solve it.

Note that it's important to put it as the first selector in your style sheet, in case you have other elements positioned absolute/fixed

Thanks drdoc, that did it, I tried your first suggestion *{position:relative} but it changed the toolbar when viewed using gecko based browser, anyway setting the divs that hides to relative position did the trick.
