Pop-open Menu

on a secondary page

cEM gave a great example of a pop open menu that allows users to access the submenu items by clicking on a main topic with a little java in this thread: [webmasterworld.com...]

What I would like to know is how I would get the latter from message #2. IF the user clicked on a link I would want that folder of links to remain opened on the secondary page. How would I do that?

I just thought about it and correct me if I'm wrong, all I need to do is use an unorganized list.

Yes, I think you've got it.

By the way, it's a good thing to call technologies by their exact name here so that no one becomes confused when they read these threads or search for information. I'm refering to the fact that these dhtml effects use css plus javaSCRIPT, not java. Java is a very different technology, developed by Sun Microsystems. These effects use JavaScript, originally developed by Netscape.
