Trouble with column height?

I am working on a site for a client and it is totally done in CSS. - well little JS - I have it pretty much set up as 3 columns and I am having trouble forcing all of the columns to be the same height.

The first is the largest and is contained in its own DIV tags. The seconed 2 are different heights and a set to 100% but they are only stretching to the end of thier content not to the whole page.

What can I do?
