css won't show up in that browser

Hello,
I just completed a blog template for a client with a 3 column layout and no tables. There is a background image in the body tag then a top, middle (with the middle tag displaying the 3 columns), and bottom div tag with background images. All this is controlled from a style sheet.

It looks fine in IE, Mozilla, Safari, etc. However, the client uses a Treo 600 with Blazer 2.0 (on Palm OS 5.2) and says that it doesn't show up right. He says the 3 columns overlap each other and the background images in the divs don't show up on his screen. However, the background image in the body does show up.

I do not have easy access to a Treo to see for myself so I am relying on the client to give me feedback as to how the page looks.

I was wondering if there are any known issues with css on browsers on pda's or if there is a similar browser I can view from my PC in order to fix these problems.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Palm claims "full CSS 2.0 support" for the Treo 600, which is both vague and inaccurate (because there is no browser which exists which supports everything).

Firstly, it's CSS support is reputed to be so buggy that certain CSS sites can actually cause the device to crash and reboot. Seoondly, it does not support the "handheld" media type, but obeys the "screen" media type instead.

The trouble is, I can't find any documentation as to which styles are rendered incorrectly, and the extent of the display bugs, so it is difficult to troubleshoot. If your client was sold the device on the idea that it could deal with CSS as well as more conventional browsers, then he was misled. Note that I don't own such a device myself, although I've seen them in action - and generally, they are fairly pathetic. The phones running Opera seem to be quite useable, though, and it's easy to test for them with the Opera small-screen rendering mode in the conventional Opera browser.
