I've been thinking about buying a CSS/DHTML book to help me in my quest in learning the languages. I'm not completely to new to the language but can't say I'm very experienced either since I limit myself to doing minor adjustments with it.

And what better place to ask for the best books on the subject than here... Can you all please recommend me the best books on the subject? (if possible modern 2003/2004 books)

thanks in advance.

Andy

For CSS, anything by Eric Meyer.

And read everything in the library [webmasterworld.com] here.

Excellent books I've been referencing recently:

Designing with webstandards - Jeffrey Zeldman

Cascading Style Sheets, the definitive guide - Eric Meyer

HTML & XHTML, the definitive guide - Musciano & Kennedy

Beginning Javascript 2nd Edition - Paul Wilton

Not too sure about DHTML specific books, but hopefully some of the above will be useful.
