I have a WP website, in which "selected text highlighting"(background:blue) retains after text deselected by selecting some other text. what could be the reason?

Hi dnetsoft, welcome to the forums. What settings do you have that set the highlighting? Where are you seeing this issue? Is it only on certain devices? Are you using a default or custom theme?

im using premium theme. i tried in all browsers but no use. Its a general setting to copy text in a website.

I would contact the provider of the theme if it is only happening on their theme. We can help with css questions, but aren't good at guessing what settings and plugins might affect a WordPress theme. There is a WordPress Forum here: [webmasterworld.com...] but you may get faster help by contacting the providers of your custom theme.
