In IE6 the gradient background appears with the links correctly appearing above it.
In NS7.2 the gradient does not appear and the links appear below where the gradient should appear.
Another issue is that in IE6 the gradient background did not stretch across the entire viewport. After setting the width to 100% and margins to 0-pixels the gap of the left disappeared, but a gap remained on the right side. As a cheat the width was changed to 102% and it worked. Still, I'd rather not have to resort to such hackneyed measures.
Anyone know why the gradient doesn't appear in NS and how to fix it? How about the gap in the background on the right in IE6?
Once the margin and padding for body was sent to 0 the class went from edge to edge.
On the other issue, well, I just screwed up.
