CSS Gradient in IE 8 & 9

Hi everyone,

I am creating a button in CSS that has a colored background and a transparent gradient that goes overtop. I have it working in all browsers except IE. IE does not show the gradient.

I have tried a few different versions of the CSS "filter" gradient but none work.

Does anyone know how I can accomplish this for IE 8 and 9?

Have you tried the gradient() function of the filter property?
