Hey, all right. Thank you for stepping in to fill the role! I've always enjoyed reading your posts. Every time I think I know something about CSS I visit the forum here to remind myself that I have a long way to go ;P

I didn't realise how touching a few words on a computer monitor could be.
Thank you all for taking time out of your day to make me welcome.

... me too! My first "me too" post! <-- coopster made me do it ;)
It's exciting times for css - we've barely started exploring what we can do with the new modules or up-and-coming html5. There'll be challenges too. But easy if we share, even better in good company!
So don't be shy - come on in and sit yourself down. Put your feet up, get comfortable - and speak up. Discuss, debate, question, challenge, encourage. Or bring a smile. Sometimes that's best of all :)

As I have no current email-notification on CSS-stuff, I didn't notice the existence of this thread untill now. Sometimes check the 10 items mentioned in notifications for other topics.
I knew in the meantime alt had become a moderator, but I would like to compliment him publicly for his contribution to this forum. He is a great teacher, knows how to explain difficult stuff, doesn't make you feel stupid or anything, in other words: I'm a fan. Apart from that he saved at least one laptops life: mine. I would have thrown it through the window, hadn't alt helped me with the nerve-wracking problems I had with a submenu I couldn't get to work.
Lots of success, alt, you deserve it. You're an asset to this forum.
