Hi

well i have installed Netscape 9 not long ago and it made me wonder about two things

1. The Browser design looks VERY identical to Mozilla 3
2. IT SUPPORTS -moz-border-radius !

They say that the Version nine was made in 2007 and quit support in 2008 and CSS3 Was made in 2009 ...

How come this old browser makes use of that mozilla prefix and they look so alike

Was Mozilla based on Netscape or the other way?

im confused !

Yes, Firefox was originally based on Netscape. They used the same rendering software. My recollection is that the two teams collaborated over the years, but I don't know any details. But that's why the two browsers behave similarly.
