DISCLAIMER: Ok ok.. I know. It seems like anything MySpace related is a sin these days. While I agree that MySpace is pretty much useless in it's present state, that doesn't change matters. I was asked to do a job, and I will not rest until I have been successful. If you are thinking of responding with something like, "Why are you using MySpace?" "GET FACEBOOK" or anything that is essentially not helpful, I ask you to please refrain from even responding. I only want serious responses. Telling me to tell this person to get facebook will not help to solve the situation. In fact, he does have a facebook, but they have MySpace as well for their "official site". That being said.. here's the situation:
I was asked by a friend to help him out with his MySpace layout (I am working with the lead singer, Szymon). He's having issues with the layout looking the same in IE as it does in firefox. This is their site, www.sevenstatesaway.com which re-directs to www.myspace.com/sevenstatesaway. I did not write the original code for the site- this was something the band came up with on their own.
I tried adding a conditional comment to the About Me section, but it wouldn't work. MySpace automatically deletes that snippet as soon as you save the changes.
so my question is this: is it possible to call up 2 different css for a myspace layout, that way the design will look the same in IE as it does in FF? I want something along the lines of, "if IE is detected, then use this CSS code. if Firefox is detected, then use this code".
