this one is making me a little nuts and i am more than sure i am doing something way stupid...

i want a couple of divs on a page to fill the width of the page. i have tried not setting any width at all and setting the width to 100%. in both cases, i get close to filling the screen but on the left and right side there is a gap (i.e. the div does not go all the way to the edges of my screen)

what bone headed thing am i forgetting?

thanks yall!

WE could help you better if you post the HTML and CSS you are using.

Can't help there, keys have been known to morph into common everyday objects like saltshakers and knick knacks to elude the confines of the owner's pockets.
