alignment problems between Divs

I already have looked at the troubleshooting.

I have an alignment problem between the top & bottom content divs and I can't fix it. I have been trying for days and last nights disastrous attempt to Validate W3 I had to get fixed by someone else.

I've looked and made small adjustments on the style sheet to get where I am but I can't get the lower portion to align with upper.

any ideas?

Not going to get much help without code to look at or a link to problem page (better link for me).

Have you validated both your CSS and HTML? If not, you may correct your problem by correcting the errors.
