Nifty Corners and IE8 problem

Hi!

We're having a problem with IE8 rendering Nifty Corners in one of our websites:
<snip>

As you can see, the colored header of each box is not in the same width of the whole box (run this website in compatibility mode or in Firefox to see how it should look like).

We're using the <snip> solution, which worked great until IE8 showed up.

What can we do to fix this mess?

Thanks!

It's not easy to help you as you're using a solution you didn't make yourself.

I general many such authors are more than willing to help their users, so I'd check with them first.

Our anti-promotion policies and obvious copyright issues make it hard to get help in a forum such as this one. Still, if you manage to get *your* code to a minimum that reproduces the difference between IE8 and Firefox, you can probably post that (within the limits of what copyright allows of course)

In general IE8 is quite compliant, make sure it's not being fed workarounds for legacy IE versions.

As a short term solution, you can also force IE8 to use the more bug infested IE7 rendering engine with a header.
