Can set DIV ID height to be percent?

I've 2 columns with 2 DIV ID and using differrence background from page background. And I want the same height for two columns. how can i do?

The same height and I'll presume high enough to contain the content of the largest of the two ?

Can't do it directly. Take a look at faux columns: have a prent to the two columns, make sure it stretches to contain the columns and then add a repeating image on the parent creatign both columns.
