Forum Moderators: not2easy
1. Introduction
With the blogosphere humming a bit about CSS3 [blogsearch.google.com], our members posting more and more about CSS3, the release of IE8 well behind us now, and the release of Firefox 3.5, perhaps this is a good time to revisit CSS3 and its practical use today.
Remember CSS3 is still very much a work in progress, with most of it still classed as a Working Draft or Candidate Recommendation. There is a lot of support for parts of it already, and by using the enhancements it will help encourage the addition of it into the final "Proposed Recommendation" stage.
I want to emphasize this series of posts is the result of a cooperation between your moderators and would not have started without the help of my co-mod suzyuk. She has asked me to post these, but rest assured she's deeply involved in getting this to you.
Right now we have a number of entries ready and they'll be released in the next few hours. After that we'll release them as we have them ready.
Contrary to most topics on WebmasterWorld, the moderators of the CSS forum will actually update the initial articles as we learn more in order to facilitate learning by future visitors, so don't be surprised if you see editing of the original posts.

What we would like to see, on the relevant threads, is discussion/posts on how and if, you use these selectors, nifty tricks you have found, implementation issues, more examples of usage, whether you think said property is required or useful or not..
corrections to our examples if they're wrong or misleading, additions to the information we have already provided.
Also please post here in this thread about any you would like to see covered, although we are working through a list as time permits, we can put out one sooner than the others if there's a demand.
You can see all of the posts have the second posts reserved, the mods will use that to detail updates.. hehe me and swa get to edit each other :)
Lets make this as comprehensive a guide as we can together.. remembering that this is bleeding edge and with the release of FF3.5 and impending IE8 is obviously subject to change if we are to keep it updated as best we can.
thanks
Suzy
