css navigation bar problem?

Hi,

I have a css navigation bar that has worked fine for me until i went to a internet cafe and seen that my last navigation bar is out of place.

I know the reason for this. As i am using texts and images backgrounds on my navigation bar, it seemed that the normal font sizes on the internet cafe computers web browser was too BIG probably 16px (i have set it as 12px for my web pages). For this reason the font size has reached over the limited amount of width i have set for my webpage, which in turn pushed the last navigation bar down to below the first one.

Does this make sense? The only option i seem to have is to change the navigation texts to images only. That way i would not have this problem.

However, I'd love to know if i don't need to do this at all and probably just make the default web page's font size stay at the size i have set even if the web browser has a BIG font size set.

My url is: <snip>

Even if you make adjustments to your presentation, today's browsers have zoom functions which can alter your layout, or the browser might be set to large fonts for those of us with failing eyesight (like me).

No happy answer, but you might find a happy medium. I generally work with text menus/navigation for this very reason and reserve the pretty pictures for everything else, ie. content.

true.....thats mainly the reason why i asked this. For people that don't have 20/20 vision.

But then again what i do know is that using images all the time is not good for SE ranking.
