Hello, this is my first post in this forum. And i'm having a little bit of a problem. Supposedly, IE8 supports css tables in this new version. the code i have does work pretty good in ff 3.08, safari and opera but IE8. And to my knowledge i've followed the instructions correctly. anyone has had this problem or am i doing something wrong here. I install IE8 as an update to IE7 anyway this is the code i'm using: (doctype: transitional)

<div id="wrapper">
<div id="header">s</div>
<div id="main">
<div id="nav">sdfsdf</div>
<div id="extras">sdfsdfsdf</div>
<div id="content">sdfsdfs</div>

@charset "utf-8";
/* CSS Document */
#main {border-collapse:collapse; display:table; }
#nav { display:table-cell; width:180px; background-color:#e7dbcd;}
#extras { display:table-cell; width:180px; padding-left:10px; border-right: 1px dotted #d7ad7b;}
#content { display:table-cell; width:380px; padding-left:10px;}
