horizontal menu correct in IE8 but not IE7

Hi there,

I am new to css, I am having trouble with a horizontal menu..
in IE8, it shows correctly, the dropdown menus are below the headings, and you can click on a menu item in teh dropdown...

in IE7, when you hover on a menu heading, the dropdown appears, but as you move the mouse to click on a menu item, the dropdown dissapears.

any help/advice would be appreciated.
